A SPECIAL EDITION – What the World Needs Now is What Works – and Love!

What else would KDM and the MBDA Federal Procurement Center want to talk about in this special edition of the Valentine’s Day What Works News U Can Use Letter?  I mean, after all, this is a News Letter focused on providing information that engages, educates, and improves Minority contractors’ chances of winning Federal Government contracts and grants – and thus building revenue and thriving!

In this divisive world in which we seem to see more destruction than building or even rebuilding, if we were to look at the global state of affairs, our audience might quickly say – What does Love have to do with this issue of What Works for MBEs and small emerging businesses?  Especially during our Black History Month Every Day podcast series…

Well, I am inspired by our Total Team's Approach to recognize what the world really needs in this season of divisiveness.  It's Love Sweet Love.  After 23 years of supporting the Government contracting needs of our clients, we celebrate our love for client capacity building, for navigating our clients’ pathways to reaching their potential, and for converting that potential into best practices – that leads to awarded contract success.  The result of this Love is growth, expanded job creation, increased new market discoveries, new teaming partners that nurture the American genius, a scaling readiness for successful international trade, and a climate resilient infrastructure.

And so, on this Valentine’s Day Special What Works News U Can Use Letter, we ask our audience to join us in recognizing what the world needs now is Love.  In this edition, we recognize our FPC clients, and we celebrate with all who attended the National 8(a) conference in Atlanta last week.  Congratulations to our MBDA FPC client The Habits Group for receiving the Workforce Development award for their leading construction and reentry training program located in Houston, Texas.  And welcome to the 15 new FPC clients who joined the Federal Procurement Center to secure capacity building services that will help them scale, grow and prosper.

We also send this message of Love to the Federal agency representatives who sign up to support the mission of advancing success with Executive Orders 13985 and 14008, and the policies that are designed to show Love for Equity, and the heightened human condition that can be achieved through economic growth and Government contracting success.  To the World – and to those who help shape it – with Love, Sweet Love!
