The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Research Laboratory, Logistics Support Division (AFRL/RWO) has a continuing requirement for Logistics Materiel Control Activity (LMCA) function.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, and materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the Logistics Materiel Control Activity (LMCA) function. The LMCA is an AFMC specialized supply logistics program created to allow Research and Development organizations the flexibility and speed to acquire materials to support RDT&E mission. Because Research, development, Test and Evaluation typically requires non AF-Standard items that are often used once as prototypes and often destroyed in testing, the LMCA is not a standard supply approach but one focused on responsiveness outside the Standard Base Supply system.
